Tamiya Fiat 500F 1/24. Part 3 - Body
Usually body is the first thing you should start with when building a car
model. But this time I decided to wait a bit. As a main part it requires a lot
of preparation and responsibility. You probably don't want to mess up with the
body.
Then I highlighted the molding seams with permanent marker to remove them with
sanding paper.
I noticed a significant gap within fitting of the rear hood to the body. To
remove the gap I used Tamiya Basic puty.
The original rear mesh was replaced with the one I cut with laser from 0.15 thick stainless steel sheet. That one look way better.
Previoues steps followed by developing primer layer to show any imperfections and when all of them were fixed the white primer has been applied before putting the final color.
And this is the final yellow color with 2k clear automotive varnish applied.
